Our Company is a leader in the design of specially strong shapes for the administration of
medicinals, and IN manufacturing and packaging technologies for sweets, Nutraceuticals, and
pharmaceutical products.
Disch can look back on a history spanning a hundred years, having been founded in 1903 by
Jakob Disch, who specialized in the manufacture of sweets and biscuits. In 1967,
the manufacturer of sweets concentrated on the production of hard-boiled candies, and in
1993 the Company was authorized by the Swiss Government Food Inspectorate to manufacture
medicinals for free sale on the market. For twenty years, from 1971 to 1991, Disch was a company
of the Nestlé Group. Since 1992, Disch is an independent privately owned company.
